Taboula, hummus, falafel, kabab….. thats the only things people know about middle eastern food …. I have always thought that arabic food and specially palestinian food is under estimated …
Palestine, lebanon, syria and jodan have the same exact food .. with minor differences … the good thing about this cuisine (that u will find me writing alot about) other than it is healthy .. is that it has been influenced by many cultures around it … for instance .. the greek baklava .. we have the same thing even named the same thing.. but made differently … but same concept of the filo dough layered and everything … also the stuffed vine leaves also known as dolma … its there in greece, turkey, and the middle east … even iran
As a meditirranian country … the similarites are alot … and add to that the spices that are an indian influence .. its a total blend of different cultures and the tast is mmmm … you have to try it to know … i will be posting alot of recipes .. middle eastern and non middle eastern … i hope u try it and enojoy it and im open to comments 
I love middle eastern food! I could eat kibbeh balls with hummus all day long! I can’t wait to see what else you can introduce me to!

As you can tell, I am new to your site. My daughter is a newlywed and is just now getting interested in cooking. She hated anything domestic while she was growing up!
She made me start a blog ~~ I think because I am always inventing new dishes; but don’t want to stop my creative/cooking process to write anything down. So, now my husband takes a picture and after we are done eating I will write down how I made it.
Anyway, Middle Eastern cuisine has never been a part of my life. And now I have found you. You have opened up my eyes to a whole new way with food and I couldn’t be happier!!
